I am sure you have heard that nuts have lots of fat in them, and well… they will make you fat. So you will find people start munching on nuts and stop pretty quickly because of how “bad” they are for you. However, nuts have unsaturated fats in them which actually decreases the level of the bad cholesterol (LDL) and helps maintain the good cholesterol (HDL). Peanuts however, aren’t a nut-they are a legume and hard for the body to digest.
Haven’t you heard that cake, ice cream, and other sweets will make you fat? I don’t hear people avoiding them as much as the nuts!
So, enjoy your nuts!
