Counting while stretching: take deep breathes

I have found that instead of just counting to 10, 20, or 30 while stretching, it is much easier to count deep breathes.
The fresh air provides more oxygen to your body - a big plus while running - and helps eliminate toxins when you breathe out.
This controlled breathing is much slower, so you need not count as high. Take a deep breathe to help come up with an equivalent count. The deep breathing is also calming, which should help you get through hard stretches.
